A passion for

Our journey began in 2009 when our founder, Spencer, was asked to automate energy billing for a property developer. This partnership led to the development an online, cloud-based energy monitoring and billing platform, igniting a passion for energy efficiency and smart technology.
As energy costs continued to rise, Spencer saw a greater opportunity in solar power. By 2015, after training with Schneider Electric’s Solar Energy team, he established strong supplier partnerships and launched Starrate Energy. The mission? To help businesses and homeowners secure a reliable, uninterrupted power source and transition to clean, sustainable energy solutions.
